Memory Verse Mixup: 1 Thessalonians 5

Materials

• Two or more sets of Memory Verse Cards (download below) one for each team
• Two or more Bibles, one for each team

Instructions

Divide the students into teams. Print and cut out one set of Memory Verse Cards for each team. On tables or in different areas of the classroom, place a Bible open to today’s memory verse and one set of mixed-up Memory Verse Cards. Challenge each team to work together to put the cards in order, using the Bible.

Check to make sure each team has completed the verse correctly then have them turn their cards face down and mix them up again. Have the teams race each other to put their verse cards back in order. Repeat as time allows.
