The secular history lens
Those who reject the true, Biblical account of history interpret the ‘evidence’ in an entirely different way—based on the presupposition that all things have arisen by natural processes over countless millions of years. This belief includes the idea that death, disease, pain, suffering, killing, etc have been and always will be necessary aspects to life, and that life itself arose from non-living chemicals eons ago.Notice again, that the difference between the conclusions does not come from the ‘evidence’ itself—creationists and evolutionists deal with the same Earth, the same fossil layers, the same rock formations, etc., but approach the evidence from different starting points, which leads to different conclusions.
The ever-changing ideas of men (whose hearts are desperately wicked (Jeremiah 17:9) and against God) lead to a faulty understanding of the world, while the Bible—God’s unchanging word—offers the only true and proper perspective of our universe.
