Charlie, a fun-loving young monkey, and his triceratops buddy, Trike, set off with their burly guide ("Captain Wes") to hike deep into Grand Canyon. But there’s trouble on the trail when young Charlie goes off on his own to dig for fossils. Once in the Canyon, Trike explains to his friend about the worldwide Flood and why we can trust the Bible. Finally, with the guide’s help, Charlie understands the truth in a way that will change his life forever. This beautifully illustrated, highly interactive learning tool will teach basic creation truths while it fascinates children of all ages, and parents and teachers alike will enjoy the incredible adventure, brought to life with pull-out features, maps, flaps, and a panoramic three-page canyon drawing! (This large format read-along book has thick, durable pages with many fun "secrets" kids love.)

The best place for your kids to record details of their day, discoveries made, or even questions they may have is in My Green Notebook. The water bottle will help keep the most adventurous explorer safely hydrated! (water bottle comes in one of five popular colors)

Home educator review

“I have yet to be disappointed with anything we have gotten from Answers in Genesis and this book is no exception. The book is large in size and the illustrations are wonderful. (My daughter) Bethany Grace especially kept commenting on how they made everything look so real in the book. There are also lots of flaps to lift. Sometimes the flaps give extra information and sometimes they are part of the story line. The flaps were a hit with (my son) Mark but Bethany really liked them too.

There are great lessons to be learned in the book. The two main lessons that the children got from the book were:

1. trusting God

2. not to judge people by the way they look

Charlie has a green notebook in which he records his thoughts and what he learns along the way. This is right in line with home school families and how many of our children record their thoughts and drawings of things they encounter. The children relate to this aspect of the book very well.”
