Over 20 years after this great debate in 1985 at the University of California at Irvine, the question continues, “Does God Exist?” In this remarkable recording you can listen as Greg Bahnsen, author, pastor, lecturer, and founder of the Southern California Center for Christian Studies, and Dr. Gordon Stein, an aggressive advocate of “rational” atheism, who considered it his mission to destroy the silly faith of those who would dare embrace the existence of the God of the Bible, debate their respective beliefs.
Dr. Bahnsen was passionate about teaching apologetics. His conduct during this “Great Debate” exemplified the humble faithfulness to Christ and His Word. He tirelessly wrote and lectured in order to equip others to give a reason for the hope that they have in God and Jesus Christ.
