We stock this easy-to-understand book because it provides a useful critique on the big bang theory. It also discusses how the attributes of the universe clearly show the hallmark of special creation, the earth is uniquely created for life, etc. In all, it is a generally sound and encouraging book which credibly gives glory to God.

Problems to be aware of:

Some of the author’s positions are not necessarily endorsed by AiG. They include:

• His matter-of-fact belief in a water vapour canopy covering, and that there was no rain on the earth until the time of Noah’s Flood, pp. 13 & 71. For clarification see Arguments we think creationists should NOT use.

• The objection that God used ‘natural’ processes in Dr. Russ Humphreys’ distant starlight model as portrayed in his book Starlight and Time, pp. 23, 45. See How can we see distant stars in a young universe?

• The notion of satanic purpose behind the complexity of modern theoretical physics to blind people to the truth about origins, p.48.
