About the authors

Kurt P. Wise received a B.A. from the Department of Geophysical Sciences at the University of Chicago and an M.A. and a Ph.D. in paleontology from Harvard University under Stephen Jay Gould. Currently, Dr. Wise is an associate professor of science and director of the Center for Origins Research and Education at Bryan College.

Sheila A. Richardson received a B.S. in nursing and a masters of education from the University of Virginia and served on the staff of Precept Ministries as a workshop trainer in inductive study from 1989 to 2002. She has been active in writing curriculum for various adult and youth courses.
