- Introduction of the book: Author, analysis of the book, primary subject matter, and key texts form a suggestive introduction to the book. Pilot numbers given to the left of the first two items lead to a complete analysis of the book as well as the author.
- Pilot number: The “pilot number” to the left of marginal topics lead directly to the same topic in the Comprehensive Helps section where all references are found and desired information given.
- Forward reference in chain: The reference printed to the right of a given topic is the “forward reference” which leads to the end of the “chain.” One obtains each reference in its Scriptural setting by following a “chain.”
- Biographical studies: The Index of Chain Topics section provides facts regarding Bible characters together with citation of Bible references about each; all important characters are analyzed and their main characteristics listed. Bible heroes “walk across the stage of life” again to furnish lessons and inspiring examples for all believers.
- Analysis of chapter: Each chapter of the New Testament has been thoroughly analyzed and the main divisions printed in bold-face type. This presents a complete digest of the teachings of the chapter.
- Topical sub-divisions: Numerals or letters in parentheses at the right of a topic refer to sub-divisions of topics in the Comprehensive Helps section.
- Analysis of verse: Every important verse of the Old and New Testaments has been analyzed into topics which help to open up the meaning of the verses and to stimulate Bible study.
- Modern subjects treated: Adapted to the pace of the 20th Century, it gives the Bible teaching on subjects of everyday interest, which makes study even more interesting. Many such subjects, not even mentioned in other Bibles, are fully treated.
