Answers in Genesis (AiG) is an apologetics (i.e., Christianity-defending) ministry, dedicated to enabling Christians to defend their faith and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ effectively. We focus particularly on providing answers to questions surrounding the book of Genesis and affirming the authority of Scripture.

Seeking Publication: AiG publishes a very limited number of materials each year, most of which are written by in-house staff to fill a known need.

Due to the ever-increasing volume of manuscripts, proposals and generalized ideas submitted to our staff, we are no longer able to accept unsolicited manuscripts, scripts, proposals, or queries. Staffing and budget limitations preclude us from sufficiently evaluating the volume of material received.

We recommend that you consult Sally E. Stuart’s annual “Christian Writer’s Market Guide” (available online and from most bookstores and libraries) to find a list of hundreds of potential publishers.

Seeking Book/Manuscript Review: Due to the large volume of material we receive, it is our policy NOT to task our speakers, researchers, or other staff members with the time-consuming responsibility of reading and then writing reviews of the positives and negatives of manuscripts, books, or other projects. Although there was a time when we were able to provide that service (for a fee of approximately $200) our staffing limitations and the actual number of man-hours involved preclude us from continuing that service.

Important! As with materials submitted for publication (see above), materials submitted for review will, of necessity, be discarded or put into the Answers in Genesis research library/archives.

Seeking Sales: Answers in Genesis utilizes numerous special market channels to get the materials we promote into as many homes as possible. Those channels include; in-person speaking events, donor newsletters, radio and television premiums, ads in Answers magazine, the Dragon Hall book & gift store (in the Creation Museum), online at AnswersBookstore.com and other web sites, homeschool conferences, Christian bookstores, direct mail catalogers, and other venues. If you are the author or publisher of an already-published resource and if—after studying our online catalog—you feel that your product strongly fits within the range of items we already offer, while providing a fresh look and/or new, accurate information on the subject, you may send a review copy to the address below.

Please keep in mind that preference is given to products that fill a unique niche, and are presuppositional in nature. (Note that just being a “Christian” resource or touching on the creation issue is not sufficient. Connection to our core message of supporting the doctrine of literal, six-day creation as described in Genesis, and/or addressing issues of biblical authority, must be obvious. If you are not sure what the terms “presuppositional” and “biblical authority” mean, it is unlikely that your material will fit with our core message.) Due to the large number of products that we receive (hundreds each year), we are unable to provide a unique evaluation of each submission. Please do not contact us regarding your submission. If we are interested in your product for resale, we will be in contact regarding required discounts and terms. We appreciate your interest and thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Seeking Endorsement: AiG is strict in its endorsements and does not readily give them out. To be eligible for an endorsement requires the book or product be written by a person well known to the AiG staff and leadership and in line with our ministry goals from cover to cover.

We have often found books that were excellent and a good asset to Christianity but still refrained from giving an endorsement for various reasons. Such reasons may include that the work was not as presuppositional as we would like, or that it discusses a topic that is outside of AiG’s scope (sometimes one sentence can be enough to decline the request). Yes, our standard is quite high.

We do want to encourage authors, researchers and speakers to continue to write and to challenge false worldviews and uphold the authority of the Bible. Our website offers thousands of free articles that will confirm for you what we teach about certain issues and gives you the opportunity to review your own work.

In summary, it is essential that you follow these simple steps before submitting a manuscript or other work to Answers in Genesis:

  • Read thoroughly the AiG statement of faith. Does your resource meet the doctrinal requirements of that document?
  • Study our online catalog. Do not proceed unless you are confident that your work complements, but does not duplicate, the items we already offer.

If, after careful consideration of all of the above, you are certain that your product, manuscript, or book meets the criteria described above, write a brief cover letter stating the work’s main message and distinctive qualities, and assure us that you have done the things noted above. Mail it to the following address:
