Prayer Updates

More of these periodical updates are available on our prayer site, along with a relevant letter from Ken Ham. To help you stay engaged with current requests and praises, you can also subscribe to receive email updates. We appreciate your faithful prayer support!

Just as the Apostle Paul wrote to believers in Thessalonica, we also remind our supporters, “Brethren, pray for us” (1 Thessalonians 5:25). The apostles faced strong opposition and even physical persecution for the truth they preached. Today we also live in challenging times, when people are compromising and leaving churches in droves. Like Paul, we at Answers in Genesis greatly appreciate the many prayers and other support offered to God on our behalf by Christians like you. Thanks for praying with us!

Answers Worldwide Olympics Ministry

For the past week and a half, a dedicated AiG team of 100 volunteers has been boldly proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ and the message of biblical authority to tens of thousands of souls on the streets of London. The Olympic Games provide a wonderful opportunity to witness to people from around the world. In addition, AiG president Ken Ham gave numerous talks and presentations throughout the entire UK during this time, with many being impacted by what they heard.

Volunteers on the ministry team talked with people from 110 countries, distributed over 42,000 witnessing booklets, and saw 24 people receive Christ. Join with us to praise God for so many reached! And please pray for many more to respond in faith to the gospel literature and the conversations they had with our team members. You can read a day-by-day account of this ministry—with plenty of photos—on the Answers Worldwide blog.

Ark Encounter

Right now, donations and memberships for the full-sized Noah’s Ark are over seven and a half million dollars! That’s nearly a third of the way to the targeted goal of $24.5 million. We are so thankful for how God has led the Ark Encounter project thus far. Please especially ask the Lord to bring additional donors to support this enormous evangelistic outreach.

Research Projects

Drs. Purdom and Snelling of AiG are writing a research paper that must be completed by the end of the month for the Seventh International Conference on Creationism. Dr. Snelling is also working on a major book project researching the Hebrew text to elucidate the chronology of the Flood and the implications for the geology of the Flood. Several chapters have yet to be completed before the book can be submitted for publication. Please pray that the researchers will be able to accomplish their work in a timely manner, and pray for clear understanding as they proceed.

Health Concerns

Some AiG staff members and their families are facing significant health challenges, so please pray for their continued healing and comfort from God.

Content

We have scientists, speakers, and writers continually working on new content for the ministry besides keeping up with their many other responsibilities. AiG provides daily content on the website, and also many different books, videos, etc. being released on a regular basis. Please pray that our staff will find the time to plan and provide the much-needed content as we strive to do everything as unto the Lord.

Website Development and Design

Our goal on this website is to provide people with solid answers showing that God’s Word is true and completely trustworthy. We want people to acknowledge Jesus Christ as the Creator and Savior (Colossians 1)—and this goal keeps us continually improving our site.

Right now the AiG web development and design team is working hard on a number of important projects, and they would be very grateful for your prayers. Please ask God to give wisdom in making decisions and strength to accomplish everything that is needed.

Answers for Pastors

Next month is our national apologetics conference for pastors and other Christian leaders. Please pray for the preparations, and ask God to bring many who will hear the creation message, understand that all of Scripture is authoritative (beginning in Genesis), and take it back to their congregations with renewed passion.
