"Wow—I don’t know what to think. My seminary professor says that carbon dating proves the fossil record is millions of years old. My pastor says that the earth is only six thousand years old. How can I know who’s right?"
Today our families find themselves in a state of confusion over what to believe—the age of the earth, the origin of the various animals, the truth about dinosaurs. So where do you start? The Creation Museum shows why God’s infallible Word, rather than man’s faulty assumptions, is the place to begin if we want to make sense of our world.
This 70,000-square-foot facility allows families to experience earth history as God has revealed it in the Bible. Nearly 150 exhibits feature fearsome animatronic dinosaurs, talking heroes of the faith, and professional displays that honor God’s Word. The museum also boasts a fun-filled 200-seat special effects theater, a state-of-the-art planetarium, a petting zoo, nature trails, and lots more.
At the heart of the Creation Museum is a chronological retelling of biblical history in seven parts, called the Seven C’s. Guests step back in time, beginning with Creation, and fast forward to Christ’s return. Along the way, they see how God’s Word provides the big-picture answers for our most difficult questions, whether about science, the Bible, or our own personal relationship with God.
No matter what your question, the place to start is God’s Word. The Creation Museum reinforces that truth in every room, from first to last.

Dinosaurs remain one of the world’s greatest mysteries. Where did they come from and how did they die? The key that unlocks this mystery is God’s Word. A series of displays in the two-story-high Dinosaur Den explains that dinosaurs were created on Day Six along with all the other land animals. Like so many other creatures, however, dinosaurs eventually went extinct in the radically different environments that arose after the Flood.
Step into a strange, yet realistic, world in the lush Garden of Eden, a favorite area in the Creation Museum. Guests are reminded that such a place really existed—but it was nothing like the cursed world we experience today.
Find biblical answers to common questions about that original world. For example, did dinosaurs once share the earth with humans? Yes, according to Genesis 1, dinosaurs were created on the same day as humans, but they ate only plants. How did Adam name all the animals in one day? He named only the “kinds” of field animals and birds. He did not have to name the “beasts” or “creeping things” or any of the millions of individual species that exist today.
The museum’s award-winning film The Last Adam puts everything in perspective.
The key to understanding our world is Jesus Christ, our Creator who became our
Savior. While the first Adam’s sin brought death and suffering into the universe,
the Last Adam, Jesus Christ, brought hope and salvation.
How could the Ark be big enough to carry every kind of bird and land animal? After walking through a 30-foot-high reconstruction of just 1% of the original Ark, you won’t wonder again! Numerous exhibits explain the Ark’s true scale and likely engineering.
