Those who doubt whether creationists do any “real science” might be pleasantly surprised in August. Some of the best minds in creation science will gather under one roof to present their latest research at two major science conferences in Pittsburgh.
The sixth International Conference on Creationism (ICC), held periodically since 1986, is a core gathering at which scientists present their original, peer-reviewed papers on creation. Hosted by the Institute for Creation Research and the Pittsburgh-based Creation Science Foundation, this week-long conference features papers on the theme “Developing and Systematizing the Creation Model of Origins.” (Look for a special report on “the creation model today” in the next issue of Answers.)
A joint conference between the Biology Study Group (now in its twelfth year) and the recently formed Creation Geology Group will follow the ICC conference at the same location. Both scientific affiliations offer creation researchers a place to present their findings and discuss future research.
