The latest Bigfoot find turned out to be nothing more than a crude fake: an apeman-like rubber suit. This latest fraud in the decades-old search for Bigfoot follows a long line of supposed apemen “finds.” In fact, the original report from CNN indicated that the body was perhaps the “carcass of the furry half-man, half-ape.”*
Such claims are rarely taken seriously by scientists today, since they’ve learned other embarrassing lessons from the now-repudiated “ape men,” such as Piltdown Man and Nebraska Man.
