The beautiful clownfish (Nemo from the movie Finding Nemo) possesses incredible navigation abilities that have stunned researchers.* After they hatch, clownfish spend several days in the open sea, and currents often carry them far away. Yet they can return close to the very sea anemone where they were born.

These fascinating, brightly colored creatures are apparently born with the ability to detect scents from afar and return home.

The clownfish joins a long list of incredible creatures that God has equipped with advanced migratory technology to aid in their navigation. The ability of the mindless process of evolution to produce complex behavior as seen in clownfish may be one of the greatest fish stories ever told.
