A Belief to Put on Ice

Featured in Answers Magazine

NASA brings us yet more excitement about water on Mars. Last July, the Phoenix Mars Lander found water-ice in a soil sample extracted from the Red Planet. Because evolutionary cosmologists often proclaim "where there's water, there's life," the water-ice discovery thrilled them.

After failing to find clear evidence of organic materials on Mars, researchers take comfort that such ice discoveries might be evidence of Martian habit-ability. Such discoveries will surely motivate calls for launching even more expensive probes into space, as the evolutionary-fueled search for life outside Earth continues.
