Polar bear

Polar bears, also known as “sea bears,” are adorable. But beware: these animals are the LARGEST of all the bears. They can weigh up to 1,700 pounds (771 kg) and can grow up to 11 feet (3.4 m) tall. These bears are very smart hunters and excellent swimmers.

Bears were created by God on Day 6 about 6,000 years ago. That’s when God made all the land animal kinds.

The polar bear’s skin is black. It helps keep them warm. Their heavy fur only LOOKS white to help them blend into the snow.

Big paws help polar bears swim, sometimes over 50 miles (80 km) without a rest.
