Bats have been known to live up to thirty years. (That's old!)

There are lots of bats—over 1,100 different species!

Baby bats are called pups.

Some flying fox bats have wingspans between 5 and 6 feet (1.5–2 m) compared to the bumblebee bat, which has a tiny wingspan of 6 inches (15 cm).
