Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it (Psalm 127:1).
Our Lord and our God,
As we now turn our attention to the task of building our homes into an environment for sanctification, as we seek to leave behind a godly legacy, as we strive to raise godly children in this ungodly world, we ask for Your direction, Your strength, and Your guidance. The task is so monumental and so overwhelming that we now turn to You, for there are many things that we can’t do at all. You alone are the One who can build our homes; You alone are the One who can change hearts. You alone are the One who can give us courage, wisdom, and commitment.
We entrust it all to You now, asking that You alone would be the One to receive glory and honor.
Discover how compromise starting in Genesis has filtered down from Christian seminaries and colleges to pastors—and finally to parents and their children. This erosive legacy is seen in generations of young people leaving the church—two-thirds of them. Get the facts, discover God’s truth, and help bring a new reformation to churches and families by helping to call them back to the authority of God’s Word.
