Evolution Exposed

The Research Paper Challenge, now in its second year, is designed to encourage students to defend biblical authority in an increasingly unbiblical world. This year’s Challenge focused on AiG’s latest information-packed resource, Evolution Exposed.

This recently updated book, by AiG researcher and former educator Roger Patterson, confronts evolutionary indoctrination head-on, revealing the false information, misleading conjectures, naturalistic bias and outright censorship in public school science textbooks.

“We’re so excited to partner with Liberty on the Challenge,” commented Ken Ham, AiG president. “Today’s public schools are saturated with evolutionary thinking and immorality. By showing youth the gaping holes in evolutionism and pointing to the Bible, we can rescue a generation from doubt and purposelessness.”

“I am very pleased that we could help sponsor this research paper contest,” seconded Dr. David A. DeWitt, Director of the Center for Creation Studies and professor of biology at Liberty University. “We hope this prize will attract many students to carefully research the evidence for creation. Here at Liberty, all undergraduate students are required to complete a semester course in creation apologetics taught from a young-earth creationist perspective.”

Karin Hutson was announced the winner of the $50,000 scholarship (larger than first prize for the 2006 Miss America Pageant) on July 26, 2007. Four runners-up received laptops and other prizes. You can see pictures of the ceremony, read the winning enties, and see a video of the event here.
