–Kevin and B. Schull, USA

AiG has secured special permission from Precept Ministries to distribute what we believe is the best Genesis curriculum for adults and older teens available today—Genesis 1 & 2

You won’t find this in other bookstores or catalogs, either, though it far outshines anything of this type you’ll find there.

Most studies of Genesis either compromise on the age of the Earth or completely avoid this central topic.  But this curriculum allows students to dig deeply into the meaning of the Biblical text, and it has everything else you’d expect from a top-notch curriculum:

  1. A strong stand on the pivotal issues of Genesis, which are foundational to the Christian faith.

  2. Intensive, Bible-centered ‘inductive study’ pioneered by best-selling author Kay Arthur.

  3. 16 correlated video lectures by Ph.D. scientist Kurt Wise, a Harvard graduate in paleontology (fossils, geology) and an experienced teacher who holds to 6-day recent Creation and a global Flood.

A popular lecturer at Bryan College for many years, Kurt Wise knows how to weave together humorous stories and effective graphics to boil down ‘hard science’ to help any Christian—regardless of background and interests—to see its relevance to Christian life and witnessing.  Kurt assisted in every detail of this curriculum, and he’s conveniently put the technical (but extremely valuable) ‘hard science’ in well-written appendices.

The primary author of the written curriculum, Sheila Richardson, is also the author of AiG’s popular series for youth, It All Begins with Genesis, now making a mark in the lives of thousands of upper elementary and teenage students worldwide.

Precept Ministries’ Genesis 1 & 2 curriculum, written for adults and older teens, comes in two parts.  (Each part can be studied independently.)

Genesis 1 curriculum

Genesis 1: The Creation

This course explores Creation from Genesis 1-2.

Genesis 2 curriculum

Genesis 2: The Fall, The Flood, and The Nations

This course explores Adam’s Fall, Noah’s Flood and the division of languages at Babel, explained in Genesis 3-11.

The videos are not required for the course, but are extremely helpful.  They make an excellent reference tool for church libraries, even after the course is completed.
