On March 20, 2005 (Palm Sunday), AiG–USA’s president Ken Ham was interviewed by William Crawley on Northern Ireland’s BBC radio program Sunday Sequence. This radio interview has been made available on the internet for a brief time … listen now!
The wages of sin is death …
God said to Adam, “Because you have eaten from the tree about which I
commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat from it’ … to dust you shall return.”
“Behold, the man ... might stretch out his hand, and take also from the
tree of life, and eat, and live forever,” therefore the LORD God sent him out from the garden of Eden.
… but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet
sinners, Christ died for us. Since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all
die, so in Christ all will be made alive.
We rejoice that those who receive the gift of eternal life will have
the right to the tree of life, once again.
Q: How do computers show that evolution has an “information” problem?
A: A living organism is very much like a computer, made up of both hardware and software.
Evolutionist Quote of the Week
“Now that the tide has turned, I hope you will be with us once again as we seize the opportunity in Washington, D.C., while battling the reemergence of the grassroots forces of darkness.”
– Ira Glasser, executive director of the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union), “Internal memorandum”
The computer’s hardware is the physical parts that you can touch and feel, like the screws, cabinet and wires. Our hardware is the physical body that one can touch and feel.
The computer’s software is the information that’s programmed and loaded into the computer, instructing it how to function. Without the program, the hardware will just sit there.
Our software is the genetic code contained in each of our cells. Without this information, the body will cease to function.
Do you think that if you placed all of the parts necessary to build a computer and left it long enough that eventually you could return and find a fully functioning computer? Of course not. Everyone recognizes that it takes intelligence to design and build a computer, yet humans are still considered by some people to be products of chance.
Why, then, do many people reject the Creator God and still insist that human beings are the result of chance processes? The answer’s in the Bible beginning in Genesis—they are in rebellion against their Creator. (For more information see Man’s achievements vs. amazing “living computer” technology.)
