Q: Why do scientists believe there could have been global flooding on Mars, yet deny the possibility of it happening here on Earth?

A: First, the Bible doesn’t say anything about a massive flood on Mars. But to admit that there was a global flood here on the Earth would be admitting that the Bible’s true and that there really is a Creator of all of us.

Evolutionist Quote of the Week

“Why has it taken 100 years to learn that one of the largest of all dinosaurs Apatosaurus (Brontosaurus of the school book) has been wearing the wrong head? That seems rather basic. How did this mix-up occur; and where has the old fellow’s head been all of this time? The answer to the last question is, of course, that its true head has been in the museum’s research collection for all these many years, patiently waiting for research to catch up to reality.”

Many scientists who look at the features on Mars believe that the canals, valleys and many of the mountains were formed by something like a global flood. Only, they have never been able to detect any liquid water on Mars!

Those same scientists see features here on Earth, with all of the geological evidence and the abundant water supply covering 70 percent of the Earth’s surface, but they adamantly reject the possibility of a global flood happening here!

2 Peter 3:5–6 states, “For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the Earth standing out of the water and in the water: whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished.”

Peter obviously believed and understood the book of Genesis. He believe in a global flood and so should all of us. To read in more detail on this topic, please see NASA announces evidence for water on Mars: Not yet definitive.
