Brian A. Catalucci

Brian A. Catalucci

In 1993 Brian graduated with a MS in computer science and engineering from the University of Colorado. He is a former president of Rocky Mountain Creation Fellowship (RMCF) in Denver, Colorado, and is a frequent speaker for RMCF on a variety of topics, including biblical creation and the inerrancy of Scripture. He has appeared on both TV and radio shows on creation topics and is presently an adjunct speaker for Answers in Genesis. Brian gives presentations covering Genesis, dinosaurs, aliens/UFOs, ancient man, and the Founding Fathers.

Brian Catalucci’s Presentations

  • “Evolution: Fact or Fiction” (Adult version) 50 min.
  • “Evolution: Fact or Fiction” (High school and middle school version) 45 min.

Either the world made itself or someone made the world. Evolution is taught as fact in our public schools, in our media, and in our government. But is evolution really a fact or is it fiction, made up to look like fact? In this talk Brian shows the scientific facts about evolution. Worldviews, historical science, mutations, natural selection, dinosaurs, the fossil record are all discussed during this presentation.

  • “Dinosaurs and the Bible” 45 min.

This is the equivalent “Evolution: Fact or Fiction” presentation for elementary schoolchildren. It discusses evolution, creation, and dinosaurs and shows how the Bible explains the dinosaurs. Interactive discussion with the children keeps them interested and participating. This presentation is fun and educational.

  • “Genesis: Why Does it Matter?” 45 min. (creation evangelism talk)

What does Genesis really say? Why should Christians trust this book as one of the most important books in the Bible? Why does it matter what Genesis has to say? Is Genesis myth or factual presentation of the earth?s and man?s history? Most people leave the church today because they have come to believe the Bible is not true. Genesis says otherwise.

  • “Why Won't They Listen?” 30 min. pulpit teaching (creation evangelism talk)

This talk discusses why today?s culture does not understand what the Bible has to say. Fifty years ago most people understood when a person spoke about sin and judgment. This teaching shows what we can do as Christians to reach people today with the Word of God and change their eternal destination. (With or without PowerPoint.)

  • “Aliens and UFOs: Who Are They Really?” 50 min.

Many people, including a past president, have stated they have seen UFOs. Do UFOs really exist? Does life exist on other worlds, or is man and life on earth the only life in the universe? Brian answers that question. Many film clips from science fiction movies are used to illustrate various points. This presentation is fun and educational.

  • “Inventions of Ancient Man: Evidence for Creation” 50 min.

Evolutionary science teaches that man evolved from primitive apes and built civilization from the ground up. The Bible teaches that man was created a perfect, intelligent being with all the knowledge he needed granted to him by the Lord, our Creator. So what do the historical and ancient records really show? Ancient artifacts, historical drawings and plans, mechanisms and machines tell the true history of man. From the ancient pyramids to model airplanes to analog computers to electrical batteries, the facts show the real truth.

  • “Does the Truth Matter Anymore?” 50 min.

God says He is the only one who can decide truth. But ever since Adam and Eve, men and women always think they can do it for themselves. You have to be careful when you ask someone if the Bible is the word of God. They may use the same vocabulary, but not the same dictionary. Charles H. Spurgeon once said, “Everywhere there is apathy. Nobody cares whether that which is preached is true or false. A sermon is a sermon whatever the subject: only the shorter it is, the better.” To many in the church today, biblical doctrine is not important. It says too many dogmatic things that upset people and drive them from the church. Today, people want quick-fix human solutions to difficult eternal problems. This has gone on so long that unbiblical churches don?t even stand out anymore. Since Spurgeon?s day, things have only gone from bad to worse in church doctrine. What can we do?

  • “Our Founding Fathers: Were They Christian?” 60 min.

The Declaration of Independence acknowledges that mankind was created and that the Creator God bestows our rights. This means that no man can take them away and that our government, instituted by God, is to protect those rights. By implication, government cannot deprive a person of those rights absent due process of law since they were given by God. This idea is a Christian concept and was not pulled out of the air by atheistic founders.

As such the government has never passed a law implementing the “separation of church and state.” This wording appears nowhere in our founding documents. The First Amendment simply states, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” Over the years, however, the Supreme Court and lower federal courts have reinterpreted this amendment in many ways. For a long time after this country became a nation, the Supreme Court believed that there was no separation between church and state and that this nation was a “Christian” nation, and it stated so it its many decrees.

In his talk, Brian will show what the Founding Fathers of this country stated and believed about God, Jesus, Creation, and our government. We don?t have to listen to what others have to say. We can hear it from the Founding Fathers in their own words.

  • “God?s Original Intent” 60 min.

This presentation will detail all that the Lord has told us about Creation and the reasons why He did it: His “original intent.” It will show beyond a reasonable doubt, from a biblical point of view, that the Lord did not use evolution or long ages to bring creation and man into existence. The importance of believing there was no death or curse before the sin of Adam will be closely examined. Other questions will be answered from a biblical perspective, such as what it means to be made in the image of God; are plants and animals alive; why did God go through with the entire plan, knowing man would fail, and knowing His only begotten Son would have to suffer and die.

The information in this presentation will show, in an organized manner, God?s view of the creation and the fall of man, and why things have turned out the way they have. In order to understand why the world is the way it is today, we must go back to the beginning, and understand what happened to the perfect world that God had originally created. In doing so, the important question is not whether it is an old earth or a young earth; it is a matter of whether we believe God or we believe man. Only the Creator was present when the universe was created; let us hear what He has to say.
