Mark Looy

Mark Looy, 54, is a co-founder with Ken Ham of the fast-growing (275 staff) apologetics ministry of Answers in Genesis and its new high-tech, well-reviewed 70,000-square-foot Creation Museum near Cincinnati (with 650,000 visitors in 21 months).

As CCO of AiG and one of Ken Ham’s “right-hand” men, Mark also

  • is the co-host with Ken (and producer) of the “Answers” radio program (heard on over 850 U.S. stations)
  • engages in strategic-alliance building with key Christian leaders, elected officials, and local businessmen to advance AiG’s Bible-upholding message; member of Rotary and the Chamber of Commerce.
  • oversees media and public relations for the Creation Museum and AiG; the museum constantly sees the world’s major media and VIP guests coming through; he also writes and edits AiG’s award-winning monthly newsletter.

As the spokesman for the ministry, Mark is often cited in the major media on matters that touch on the culture wars and the teachings of the Bible/Genesis (“gay” marriage, abortion, stem cell research, cloning, evolution in schools, etc.) in such outlets as the New York Times, Washington Post, Associated Press, the BBC, and so on.
