Go Rafting with the Author of the Controversial Grand Canyon Book!

Tom Vail, author of Grand Canyon: A Different View, which made worldwide headlines when the National Park Service considered banning it from park bookstores, has over 30 years experience guiding tours through Grand Canyon (over 200 trips in all). For the last several years, Answers in Genesis has partnered with Tom’s ministry, Canyon Ministries, to provide biblically based trips through Grand Canyon.

Join Tom and some of AiG’s speakers on a once-in-a-lifetime rafting trip and see Grand Canyon from a creationist perspective.

Comments from past participants

“Our Grand Canyon trip last June was one of the most extraordinary, educational, spiritual, and memorable trips we have ever taken.”
—S. Walsh, Chesterfield, Virginia

“It was and will remain one of the trips of a lifetime. The trip was so well supplied, organized, and professional. Most important were the teachings and discussions about geology, creation, and the Bible, surrounded by one of the Creator’s most spectacular examples of His handiwork on Earth.”
—M. Moser, Lima, Ohio

“If you are considering taking a Grand Canyon ministries rafting trip, I have to encourage you to go. It was exciting yet safe, filled with meaningful, warm Christian fellowship. The days and nights of beauty are indescribable. I can’t imagine anyone finishing this trip not feeling it was one of the best investments ever made. It was a wonderful blend of delighting in God’s nature and His people. The teaching and guides were professional, experienced, reliable, fun, and accommodating. The food was excellent, and I can’t remember a week where I laughed as often. Go for It.”
—Larry H, Phoenix, AZ

“My husband and I had the privilege of joining 27 other Christians for a fabulous, life-altering Grand Canyon white water raft trip. First, we experienced the Colorado River itself. We thoroughly enjoyed the thrills of the rapids and the indescribable beauty of God’s creation all around us. Next, we were able to learn so much from Tom Vail’s experiences and teaching about the canyon. The scientific and geological evidence for a literal six-day creation and a global Flood was explained to us throughout the trip. And lastly, the joys of fellowship with other believers was the highlight of our incredible journey. It was very encouraging to meet so many wonderful people who are standing strong for the authority of God’s Word. At the end of the trip, we came out of the canyon having an eagerness to study more about the scientific evidences for creation, a renewed appreciation for the natural beauty God has put all around us, and 27 new friendships that we are so thankful for. We had high expectations for this trip, and the actual experience far exceeded them.”
—Amie and Dan Z.

These thrilling trips will be on a motorized raft through Grand Canyon, “North America’s biggest white water,” while you learn about God’s Judgment of the Flood. All trips include daily hikes to explore side canyons, great food, fellowship, and teaching.
