	Ken Ham B.Sc. (Queensland Institute of Technology, environmental biology), Dip. Ed. (University of Queensland), Honorary Doctorate in Literature from Liberty University Founder and CEO of Answers in Genesis–USA, Ken Ham has authored and co-authored many books, including The Lie: Evolution and One Blood—the Biblical Answer to Racism, and has written extensively for many magazines, including Creation and other periodicals. Mr. Ham will be presenting: Why Genesis? How to Defend the Christian Faith in a Secular World	Dr. John Whitcomb B.A. (Princeton, ancient and European history), B.D., Th.M., Th.D. (Grace Theological Seminary) Dr. Whitcomb is the co-author, with Dr. Henry Morris, of the famous 1961 book The Genesis Flood, widely regarded (by friend and foe alike) as launching the creationist revolution of the late twentieth century. During his tenure at Grace Theological Seminary, he served as professor, director of doctoral studies and editor of Grace Theological Journal. 	Dr. Jonathan Sarfati B.Sc. (Hons), Ph.D. (Victoria University, physical chemistry), F.M. Dr. Sarfati has co-authored various technical papers, co-founded the Wellington (New Zealand) Christian Apologetics Society and served for many years on the editorial committee for the journal Apologia. He now works full-time for Answers in Genesis–Australia as a research scientist and editor for Creation and TJ, and is the author of Refuting Evolution, Refuting Evolution 2 and Refuting Compromise. Dr. Sarfati is also a former national chess champion of New Zealand. 	Dr. Jerry Falwell As chancellor of Liberty University (over 10,000 students) and founding pastor of Thomas Road Baptist Church, Dr. Falwell is in his fifth decade of ministry. The grandson of a self-avowed atheist and son of an agnostic who hated preachers, Jerry Falwell enthusiastically endorses the information to be shared at this event.	Dr. A. Charles Ware Dr. Ware is the president of Crossroads Bible College (Indianapolis) and a popular guest on the Moody radio network. 	Dr. Don DeYoung B.S., M.S. (Michigan Tech University, physics), Ph.D. (Iowa State University, physics), M.Div (Grace Theological Seminary) Dr. DeYoung is chairman of the Department of Physical Science at Grace College, Winona Lake, Indiana, and serves on the faculty of the Institute for Creation Research, San Diego. His writings have appeared in The Journal of Chemical Physics and The Creation Research Society Quarterly. He is the author of eight books on Bible-science topics. 	Dr. John Hartnett B.Sc. (Hons), Ph.D. (Department of Physics, University of Western Australia) Dr. Harnett has worked with the Frequency Standards and Metrology research group (at UWA) for more than six years. His research for the European Space Agency’s PHARAO atomic clock project involves the development of an ultra-stable microwave oscillator, based on a sapphire resonator cooled to 50 K with solid nitrogen. Dr. Hartnett has published more than 30 papers in refereed scientific journals and holds two patents. Dr. Hartnett will be presenting: Hubble Bubble, Big Bang in Trouble!	Dr. Russell Humphreys B.S. (Duke University), Ph.D. (Louisiana State University, physics) One of the world’s most highly regarded creation scientists engaged in ground-breaking research, Dr. Humphreys worked for Sandia National Laboratories (New Mexico) in nuclear physics, geophysics, pulsed-power research and theoretical atomic and nuclear physics. Retired from Sandia, he now works with the Institute for Creation Research and is the author of numerous science articles and the book Starlight and Time. 	Dr. Gary Parker B.A. (biology/chemistry), M.A. (biology/physiology), Ed.D. (Ball State, biology/geology) Dr. Parker has earned several academic awards, including admission to Phi Beta Kappa (the prestigious national scholastic society), election to the American Society of Zoologists (for his research on tadpoles) and a fifteen-month fellowship award from the National Science Foundation. He has published five programmed textbooks in biology and six books on origins science, and has appeared in numerous films and TV programs. Dr. Parker will be presenting: Creation and the Genetic Code From Evolution to Creation	Dr. Don Batten B.Sc. (Hons), Ph.D. (University of Sydney, plant physiology) Before joining Answers in Genesis–Australia in 1994, Dr. Batten worked for the Department of Agriculture in Australia for over 20 years as a research horticulturalist. He is a co-editor of Creation magazine, has written many articles for Creation and TJ, and is the co-author of The Answers Book and One Blood. 	Dr. John Baumgardner B.S. (Texas Tech University, electrical engineering), M.S. (Princeton University, electrical engineering), Ph.D. (UCLA, geophysics and space physics) U.S. News and World Report called Dr. Baumgardner “the world’s preeminent expert in the design of computer convection.” His technical work at Los Alamos National Laboratory (New Mexico) included development of a new global ocean model for investigating climate change. (University of Wales, zoology), Post Graduate Certificate in Education (Exeter University, England) Prior to working for Answers in Genesis–UK, Philip taught secondary school science (particularly biology) and religious studies. 	Buddy Davis Author, dinosaur sculptor Buddy Davis not only has numerous music CDs to his credit, but is also an acclaimed dinosaur sculptor (whose handiwork will be on display at AiG’s Creation Museum in Northern Kentucky) and writer. Buddy is the co-author of the book The Great Alaskan Dinosaur Adventure, which tells the thrilling story of how he and his team found and documented unfossilized dinosaur bones. Buddy will be performing throughout the conference week.	Dr. Danny Faulkner B.S. (Math), M.S. (Physics), M.A. & Ph.D. (Astronomy, Indiana University). He is an Associate Professor at the University of South Carolina–Lancaster, where he teaches physics and astronomy. 	Dr. Douglas Kelly B.A., B.D., Ph.D. (University of Edinburgh) Dr. Kelly is the Jordan Professor of Systematic Theology at Reformed Theology Seminary in Charlotte, North Carolina. He has authored numerous technical articles and books of theological and historical interest, including If God Already Knows, Why Pray? and Creation and Change: Genesis 1:1–2:4 in the Light of Changing Scientific Paradigms. (USAFCC, air traffic control) Carl Kerby is one of the world’s most dynamic lecturers on the book of Genesis. Carl, now VP for Ministry Relations at AiG–US, is a founding board member of AiG (1994) and is also considered the “father” of its highly popular website (with up to 53,000 daily visits). 	Bill Jack B.S. (Southern Illinois University, English, education) A former public school teacher, Bill Jack has appeared on numerous national radio and television programs, including Jay Sekulow’s “A Call to Action” and Dr. James Kennedy’s “Truths that Transform.” He has his own radio program entitled “Simple Tools for Brain Surgery” and has produced a video with that title, as well. Dr. David Menton Ph.D. (Brown University, cell biology) Recently retired, Dr. Menton served as a biomedical research technician at Mayo Clinic and then as an associate professor of anatomy at Washington University School of Medicine (St. Louis). 	Dr. Terry Mortenson Ph.D. (Coventry University, England, history of geology) Dr. Mortenson’s thesis focused on the “Scriptural geologists,” a group of men in the early 19th century who fought the rise of old-Earth geological theories. A former missionary (mostly in Eastern Europe), Dr. Mortenson is now a popular speaker, researcher and writer with AiG–US. 	Michael Oard B.S., M.S. (University of Washington, atmospheric science) Recently retired from the US National Weather Service, Michael Oard has researched for the past 25 years the compelling evidence for Noah’s Flood, the Ice Age that resulted, and how the incredible woolly mammoth connects to biblical history. He is the author of numerous secular and creation publications, and several books, including Life in the Great Ice Age and The Weather Book. (Reformed Theological Seminary), Ph.D. (Westminster Theological Seminary) An active pastor for many years, Dr. Pipa was also the director of Advanced Studies and associate professor of Practical Theology at Westminster Theological Seminary. 	Dr. Georgia Purdom Ph.D. (Ohio State University, molecular genetics) An engaging speaker with excellent PowerPoint talks, Dr. Georgia Purdom, is currently an associate professor of biology at Mt. Vernon Nazarene University in Ohio and holds a Ph.D. in molecular genetics from The Ohio State University. A graduate also of Cedarville University, Dr. Purdom is a member of the American Society for Microbiology and the Creation Research Society. Dr. Purdom will be presenting: The Intelligent Design Movement: How Intelligent Is It?	Mike Riddle B.S. (Colorado State University of Pueblo, CO, mathematics), M.Ed. (Pepperdine University, Los Angeles, CA) Mike has led teaching seminars in creation education for over twenty years all over the world. Mike’s accomplishments include: national champion in track & field, captain in the Marines and managing Microsoft’s worldwide technical training. 	Dr. Emil Silvestru Ph.D. (Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj, Romania, geology) A world authority on the geology of caves, Dr. Silvestru has published 30 scientific papers and co-authored one book. Until recently, he was the head scientist at the world’s first speleological institute, and now is a full-time researcher for AiG-Canada.
