Step 1: Choose your program

Answers in Genesis provides several program formats ideal for different audience types and sizes.

A

Large AiG conference

The AiG ‘Mega Family Conference’

  • Designed to reach dozens (sometimes hundreds) of churches in a region!
  • Family teaching conference for suggested ages 11 and up
  • Student meetings for grades K6 and 7-12
  • In most cases, two hands-on workshops for ages 7-10
  • A facility with an auditorium seating a minimum of 1,200 is usually needed.
  • NOTE: For this conference to successfully influence churches in your area, the hosts will organize a Christian Leadership breakfast to be held at least six months prior to the conference.

COSTS: AiG pays for most of the conference expenses if the local hosts pay for the costs of hosting the breakfast (typically US $4,000 - $6,000) and promotional brochures ($10 per 100).

Sample successful formats:

  • Friday evening-Saturday (all day); with K-6 and 7-12 grade student meetings during the day Friday
  • Sunday evening, Monday evening, Tuesday evening
  • Monday evening, Tuesday evening, Wednesday evening (with K-6 and 7-12 grade student meetings during the day Tues. or Wed.)

B

AiG conference

“Answers in Genesis Family Conference”

A similar format to the above, this family conference does not necessarily feature a breakfast kick-off and usually does not require a 1200-seat facility. Student meetings for grades K-6 and 7-12 and children’s workshops are often featured. Honorarium (and other expenses) varies depending on length and format of the conference.

C

Sunday Program

Sunday program

Ideal for impacting your church (and sister churches). Two possible program formats:

  • Sunday morning service (50-min. minimum) AND then followed by a special Sunday evening program of 2 hours (invite other churches, too)—a very popular format
  • A choice of Sunday morning or Sunday evening service (preference would be given to churches who allow 45-55 minutes for AiG’s special message)

NOTE: For Sunday services, travel, food and lodging expenses are to be covered by the hosting church. Honorarium/love offering will be agreed upon prior to the event. In addition, AiG resources will be made available to attendees.

D

Educational meetings

Speaking at educational meetings, schools and colleges

  1. Homeschool and Christian school conferences—AiG speakers have keynoted at many of the major state-wide school meetings across America
  2. College lecture or college chapel
  3. Debates at colleges (NOTE: before contacting AiG about the availability of one of its qualified debaters, please contact a Christian campus group to see if it would help you sponsor a creation/evolution debate)
  4. Open forum/roundtable

Special events

Special events

Conference keynoting, banquet speaker, camp program, teacher in-service programs, etc. Costs vary depending on the program/speaker.

F

Video conference

This conference is typically designed to serve churches or organizations with an expected audience size of 200 or less. A trained, certified Video Conference Coordinator will follow an agreed upon agenda to facilitate these meetings. The audience will review AiG videos. Resources will be available to the public during these conferences. Typically, the church will be asked to designate a love offering for the event to assist this ministry. The Video Conference provides a good alternative to our usual conference format when the requester’s finances or the audience size limits our ability to meet an event request. Availability is limited to areas that are served by our Video Conference Coordinators. You can view the flier as a PDF.
