Bryan Osborne

Bryan Osborne graduated from Bryan College with a B.A. in Biblical Studies, with minors in Greek and Christian Education. Later he received his graduate degree in teaching from Lee University. Bryan is currently in his twelfth year as a Bible History teacher for a public school system in Tennessee. He has been married to his wife Marla for 14 years; she is also a public school educator.

Teaching Biblical History for the last 12 years has shown Bryan the urgent need for Christians today to have for a correct understanding of the Bible and its history. This perspective is particularly true in the realm of origins and creation apologetics. In response to this need in the church and society as a whole, Bryan has been speaking on creation apologetics for the last seven years at various venues, including: a homeschooling conference, multiple churches throughout Tennessee and North Carolina, a 13-week in-depth seminar for the last several years at his home church, and now, as a speaker with Answers in Genesis.

Bryan embraces 1 Peter 3:15, which commands Christians to equip themselves with answers in order to give an account for the hope they have. Bryan’s passion for this subject is born out of his understanding that the key to biblical authority is found in defending Genesis chapters 1–11. If the historicity of the Bible cannot be trusted in its first book, then how can one trust its message of salvation?
