Biography
Stuart Burgess is currently a reader (second highest academic rank in British Commonwealth universities) in Engineering Design in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Bristol University, United Kingdom. He has also lectured in Engineering Design at Cambridge University where he was a Bye-Fellow of Selwyn College. He has published over 50 papers and patents in the area of engineering design and is a recipient of the Worshipful Company of Turners Engineering Design Gold Medal. He is a member of Buckingham Chapel in Bristol and has a Diploma in Theology from the London Reformed Baptist Seminary. He has written the following Design articles for TJ:
