This illustration sums up the history of death as the Bible teaches it. There was a perfect world that God made, and everything was initially very good. There was no death, bloodshed, disease, and suffering of man or animals. But everything changed when man sinned, and now death is an enemy-death is an intrusion.
We are living in a groaning world because of sin. However, the Bible makes
it clear in 2 Peter 3:13 and Revelation 21:1 and 21:4 that there is to
be a New Heavens and New Earth when death will be thrown into the Lake
of Fire, and there will be no more death, tears, suffering, or disease.
This is the history of death as the Bible clearly teaches.
