More Powerpoint Illustrations
|
There are almost as many variations on the look of Noah's Ark as there are pictures of it. The majority of these illustrations portray a cute little bathtub-shaped boat stuffed full of smiling animals with a bearded old man holding a shepherds crook, smiling and waving at you as they all enjoy their happy cruise.
These types of pictures (whether cartoons or more realistic renderings) may look cute and harmless, but harmless they are definitely not. No matter the style of art, these cute arks do little more than help further the skeptical mindset that the Biblical account of the Flood is impossible and therefore never happened.
Many of these cute ark images fail at these points:
1. The boat is usually drawn much too small. The Bible tells us the actual Ark dimensions God gave to Noah (Genesis 6:14-16).
2. It is terribly overcrowded.
3. The shape of the boat is totally wrong. Cute Arks would
never survive the rough waters of a worldwide flood.
Why help the world scoff at the Biblical account of the Flood by decorating
our homes and even churches with cute Arks? The world needs
to know the Biblical Flood is true history and not a fairy tale.
