God said it
There's a popular Christian saying that is often sung, and seen on bumper stickers and other Christian products: 'God said it, I believe it, that settles it.’The truth is, though, that God said it and that settles it, regardless of whether or not I choose to believe it. Either form, however, is quite an expression of faith! That's the kind of faith that everyone should have when it comes to God's Word. If we desire to please God, then we must believe His Word.
Hebrews 11:6 states, ‘And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.’ And Galatians 3:6 says, ‘Consider Abraham: “He believe God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”’
How is your faith in the words of Scripture? ‘God said it, I believe it, and that settles it.’ It’s easy to say, but living it out is the important and more difficult part.
