And I know of your worth and value,
because of what happened long ago.
God saw we were stuck with a problem,
we could not fix by ourselves here below.

It was a heart of sin we inherited.
Death was the punishment alone.
But instead of this crushing our future,
God sent us His very own Son.

Jesus was given our punishment.
He lost His life in our place.
This sacrifice was not made for animal kinds,
but for people—the precious human race!
