Feet That Walk With the Wise

Wives

Sadly, Solomon didn’t follow his own advice in choosing wise friends. He had close friends (his many wives!) who worshipped false gods and encouraged him to do the same. Instead of staying on the path of wisdom, Solomon chose to walk with those who were foolish, and his life ended badly. His kingdom was taken from him (1 Kings 11:1–11).

We need to carefully consider the path we’re walking on and those we are walking with (Proverbs 4:26). Wise people walk with wise; the way of the foolish leads people astray (Proverbs 12:26).

Are you walking with wise or foolish friends?
