Dash

Siberian Husky Facts

Hi! I’m Dash, a Siberian husky. Huskies like me originally came from the country of Siberia where we were bred to pull dog sleds. We love to work and can pull sleds across the snow for hours. Because we’re pack dogs, we love to work as a team.

Why do you think I’m called Dash? Because huskies have tons of energy and love to run. We’re always “dashing” around. Sometimes having this much energy can get us into trouble since we’re really good at escaping from houses or yards by chewing or digging under fences.

Here are some cool facts about huskies:

  • We can have different colored eyes. One can be blue and the other brown.
  • Huskies can be white, black, gray, red, or a combination of colors.
  • Huskies don’t have to eat very much food for their body size.
