Is Jesus the Only Savior?

“Jesus said to [Thomas], ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’” (John 14:6)

“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

Some people claim that there are many different ways to get to God and to heaven. But we need to build our thinking on what the Bible says. Our Bible verses tell us that Jesus is the only way to God. If we look in John 3:3, we see that “Jesus . . . said to [Nicodemus], ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.’” No one can spend eternity with God if he or she is not first born again by believing that Jesus is Lord and that He died and rose again (Romans 10:9). Jesus is the one and only way to God! Think about it this way: In Genesis, we read the account of the Flood and Noah’s Ark. How many ways were there to be saved from the Flood? Just one! To be saved, you had to go through the one door into the Ark (Genesis 6:16). Just like there was just one way to be saved from the Flood, so there is only one way to be saved—through our Savior, Jesus!
