  1. He would be betrayed by a friend—Psalm 41:9; Luke 22:3–4
  2. He would suffer and die—Isaiah 50:4–9; Matthew 27:27–49
  3. He would be silent before those who accused him—Isaiah 53:7; Matthew 27:12–14
  4. He would be killed with sinners—Isaiah 53:12; Matthew 27:38
  5. His garments would be divided among enemies by casting lots—Psalm 22:18; Mark 15:24
  6. His bones would not be broken—Psalm 34:20; John 19:32–36
  7. He would be pierced—Zechariah 12:10; John 19:31–37

From his birth to his return to heaven, Jesus fulfilled all the Old Testament prophecies about Messiah’s first coming. This showed that he was who he claimed to be—the promised Messiah, the Savior of the world (Luke 24:27)!
