Noah Feared God

After Noah came off the Ark, God made a covenant with Noah. He promised to never again bring a flood of water over the entire earth as a judgment on sin (Genesis 9:8–17). To help Noah and all people from that time on remember this promise, God gave us the rainbow. Whenever we see a rainbow, we can remember God’s wonderful promise. We may see local floods that destroy homes and land, but we will never experience a world-wide, earth-covering flood like Noah did.

Noah had believed all that God said, and God had saved him, by His grace. Noah took God seriously; he feared God. We can praise God for His salvation of Noah with the Ark and His provision of salvation for us through Jesus Christ!
