Researchers Take a Long Look at Eye Design

on July 1, 2021

Scientists are devising an artificial eye that rivals the capabilities of the human eye.

Currently the device is nearly as sensitive to light as a human eye, reacts faster, and has the potential for sharper vision. The researchers hope to one day use it for better vision prostheses and humanoid robots. But there are still obstacles to making it work in a practical way because the artificial retina requires millions of wires.

To replicate the intricate human eye, scientists have pulled together countless technological parts, still without fully succeeding to make the parts function. Yet evolutionists believe that random processes over millions of years produced the complexity of the human eye. When we view creation, including our own anatomy, from a biblical perspective, we see evidence for a brilliant Designer everywhere we look.
