And That’s a Wrap! Building Blocks Filming Finishes with 136 Episodes

by Avery Foley Schu on September 13, 2023

Hey there, Creation Explorer!

It’s been a very busy last few weeks for Trevor and me as we prepared for a week of filming the Answers TV show, Building Blocks with Bryan and Avery. If you’ve never seen Building Blocks, our friend Bryan Osborne and I (Avery) are teaching through the whole Bible for kids. Along the way, we do lots of fun games, challenges, activities, taste tests, and more. We’ve filmed 34 episodes each year for the past three years, and this year was the final 34 episodes to wrap up the whole series—136 episodes total!

Season 4 included the last year of Jesus’ ministry, his death, burial, resurrection, ascension, the beginning of the church, all the epistles (letters), and the promise of Jesus’ return! It was such a joy to get to teach about Jesus and his work for us on the cross. To finish all this teaching in just one week, we filmed about seven episodes a day for five days—it was a busy but really fun week!

We thought you might enjoy some behind-the-scenes photos from this week of filming:

Trevor and Anthony and Nate, from Answers in Genesis’ AV team (a huge thank you to them for all their hard work!), did all the filming and audio recording, and now, Trevor will edit the footage so it’s ready for you all to watch. Season 4 of Building Blocks will, Lord willing, be available on Answers TV in January 2024.

We hope you enjoy this teaching of God’s Word! Well, we’re off on another adventure. Until next time, remember how important it is that we learn and study God’s Word:

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105).

Bye!
