Felicity and Avery Star in Creation Museum Video

Hey there, Creation Explorer!

Last Sunday was Mother’s Day, and in honor of this special day for moms, the Creation Museum’s video team wanted a special video celebrating the love moms have for their children right from the moment that child is created in his or her mother’s womb. And they asked me (Avery) and Felicity to star in the video!

Together we made a cake topped with the message that each person is “fearfully and wonderfully made.” It was fun to be part of this special video, which you can watch below:

Yes, every single person is made in God’s image, fearfully and wonderfully, right from the very beginning (what we call the moment of fertilization). And that’s a truth we love celebrating at the Creation Museum, especially with our beautiful Fearfully and Wonderfully Made exhibit.

Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

The Fearfully & Wonderfully Made exhibit calls attention to biblical and scientific truths about the unborn while pointing guests to the hope and forgiveness that can only be found in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

  • Fascinating Animations

Follow the journey from fertilization through birth in fascinating new animations, including the remarkable changes that must take place in mother and baby within a few minutes of birth—or else neither would survive!

  • Life-like models

Psalm 139 says of the unborn baby, “Wonderful are your works.” Our artists have created 12 exquisite baby models that show God’s jaw-dropping handiwork in the development of a child from the fertilized egg through birth. A special lighting effect, known as “Pepper’s ghost,” gives visitors a sneak peek at the baby’s developing bones and internal organs.

  • Biblical teaching

Featuring lifelike baby models, a fascinating developmental timeline, teaching from a biblical and scientific perspective, touching true stories of adoption and healing, and a powerful gospel message, this exhibit will have you saying with the psalmist, “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”

  • Selfless Servant

A sculpted model baby, four times the scale of a newborn, and detailed animation show the intricate process God designed to ensure the baby receives nourishment from the mother through the placenta.

Fun fact: Our other daughter, Lois, appears in the Fearfully and Wonderfully Made exhibit. She is the baby featured in the 40-week-old baby ultrasound footage. Next time you visit the museum, see if you can spot her!

Well, we’re off on another adventure. Until next time, remember Psalm 139:14: “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.”

Bye!
