Definitions

Family—for the purposes of the Creation Museum Memberships, a family is defined as all the people living under your roof. If you have immediate family members (i.e. children) NOT living with you, they would not be covered under a family membership and would need to purchase their own memberships.

General Questions

Q: Is my museum membership tax-deductible?

A: Your membership is not a donation. You are purchasing admission to the museum, and as such, your museum membership is NOT tax deductible.

Membership Questions

Individual Lifetime Membership

Q: I prefer to pay $100/month for 10 months (or $500/mo. for two months, etc.). Can I do that?

A: No. We are set up to accept either full payment or $89/month for 1 year.

Q: Will my credit card be automatically charged? If so, when?

A: Yes, your credit card will be charged within a few days after your membership application was received, and then will be charged every month for a year at approximately the same time each month.

Q: Can I have the payments automatically withdrawn from my checking account?

A: Yes, you can provide a voided check with the account number and routing number and we will automatically deduct it from your account around the same time each month that the first payment was made. (Setting up payment through your checking account is currently not available online; please contact us to set up payment through your checking account.)

Q: Can I pass my lifetime membership on to my spouse or child?

A: No. Lifetime memberships are individual and non-transferable.

Benefits Questions

Unlimited Museum admission

Q: Will each Lifetime family member get a pass?

A: Yes.

Q: I’m signing up for this membership in 2004 and I have children currently living at home, but by 2007 they’ll be in college/married/otherwise out of the house. Can they still be part of the unlimited Museum admission since they were children at home at the time I signed up?

A: Yes. As a Lifetime Member, they will have unlimited admission to the Museum for the rest of their lives.

Guest Passes

Q: Will I get these passes in the mail or do I just bring my guests with me?

A: Along with your permanent membership card, the four permanent Guest Passes will be given to you when you come to the Creation Museum on your first visit. It will then be your responsibility to keep track of them. There will be a $5.00 replacement charge for lost or stolen cards.
