WEATHER

Despite what you might first think, winters in Vancouver are generally relatively mild. According to tripadvisor.com, “Vancouver winters are mild, with flowers beginning to bloom as early as February. Birdwatchers, hikers, and cyclists can continue to be active year-round. Daytime highs are cool, at around 8°C (46°F), and overnight lows hover just above freezing. Winter is the rainy season in Vancouver, with an average of more than 10 cm (4 in) of rainfall in each winter month. There is a roughly equivalent amount of snow, but with the rain and warm weather, it doesn't remain on the ground for long.”
