Man Arrested for Child Pornography Before He Could Abuse Surrogate Baby

In an extremely disturbing news story from LifeSite News, a well-known Chicago-area veterinarian, Adam King, was arrested for one count of possession and distribution of child pornography. King is in a gay “marriage” (there’s actually only one marriage—the one God created—a man and a woman) with another man and was also allegedly charged with drugging children in order to sexually assault them.

According to several reports, King and his “husband” had purchased a child through surrogacy and King boasted that he planned to sexually assault this newborn baby boy. In online chat posts, King allegedly had confided to someone he believed was a fellow pedophile (but was actually an undercover FBI agent) living in New York that he prefers to sexually abuse children under age 10.

The article quotes from CBS News, reporting that:

“King also allegedly sent the person in New York several videos of child pornography, including at least three different videos of men sexually assaulting preteen boys,” and that he “claimed he had drugged and sexually abused his nieces and nephews.”

According to CBS, King allegedly wrote, “I generally use Benadryl,” noting that it provides a “wide safety margin” and is “easy,” claiming “it generally takes 30–45 min(utes),” and “I usually double an adult dose.”

Now, this is pure wickedness, sexually abusing and exploiting children and even boasting about it. Even in our depraved and amoral society, Assistant U.S. Attorney Brandon Stone is quoted as saying, “This is heinous, heinous conduct. If the FBI had not stepped in and arrested him, he would be in California right now.” Fortunately, King was arrested on Friday, March 22, a few days before he was going to fly to California to visit the surrogate mother before his son’s expected birth later the same week (on March 29).

This is what happens when God’s Word is not revered as authoritative and people instead replace the basis for absolute truth and objective morality with the changing opinions of sinful mankind as our culture does whatever is right in their own eyes (Judges 21:25).

They are acting as their own god (Genesis 3:5) to justify doing whatever they want. Furthermore, this is just one example (including homosexual acts, drugging and raping children, and delighting in evil) that I believe points to the signs that we live in a time in which God is turning over the culture, withdrawing the restraining influence of the Holy Spirit, and pouring out judgment.

I suggest that Romans 1 is really a picture of the culture throughout the Western world (including the US) today. In Romans 1, we read about those who rebel against the Creator God and God’s response to that rebellion.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men. . . . Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. (Romans 1:18, 24–25)

As Christians, we need to base our thinking on the firm and unchanging foundation of God’s Word (beginning in Genesis), not on man’s fallible, changing, sinful ideas. We need to be salt and light in a world that so desperately needs to hear the message of the truth of God’s Word and the gospel.
