Prayer Updates

More of these periodical updates are available on our prayer site, along with a relevant letter from Ken Ham. To help you stay engaged with current requests and praises, you can also subscribe to receive email updates. We appreciate your faithful prayer support!

From the beginning, God has been intimately involved in His creation. He watches over the sparrows and knows the number of hairs on each person’s head (Matthew 10:29–30). And throughout Scripture we read how our God answers the prayers of His people.

Consider an example from the first book of the Bible of how the Lord answered Abraham’s prayer: “So Abraham prayed to God; and God healed Abimelech, his wife, and his female servants. Then they bore children; for the Lord had closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech” (Genesis 20:17–18). The all-wise, loving God answers our prayers in various ways; we simply have to ask and then trust Him as He watches over us.

Thank you for interceding for the ministry of Answers in Genesis.

Praises and Requests

Live Streaming

Last month, the Creation Museum hosted AiG’s Children’s Ministry Leaders conference in Legacy Hall. We praise God for the many people in attendance, who heard some excellent teaching from our speakers this year.

But we also did something new this year—the AiG website featured live streaming video from two key sessions during that conference. We are thankful for this technology and the future possibilities, including streaming live video from our upcoming Answers for Women conference on May 3–4. By the way, please pray for the coordination of that conference to go smoothly.

Also, please pray for the AiG staff involved in facilitating live streaming video, for the web team, audio-visual team, outreach team, and others. All these have an important role in making the video feed work, so please ask God to bless this effort and allow many people to hear the message of biblical authority and the gospel.

Creation Museum Ticket Outreach

The Creation Museum is looking to help church and school groups raise money for worthy causes like mission trips, youth camps, sports camps, or special projects by allowing them to sell Creation Museum tickets at a reduced price and still make at least 50 percent profit. Please ask the Lord to bless this unique endeavor and that lives will be changed for eternity as a result.

Research Projects

The research department staff would appreciate prayer for the ongoing research by Dr. Andrew Snelling on radiometric dating of meteorites, and also the radioactive decay rate determinations. Please also ask the Lord to give the research staff understanding for the technical papers on completed research that need to be written, and for Dr. Danny Faulkner as he works with the audio-visual team on a new planetarium show.

Video Production

Please pray for God’s provision of efficiency as the video team works on the new Buddy Davis’ Amazing Adventures video about caves. This will be the next video in Buddy’s Amazing Adventures series for kids.

Outreach Events

This season is full of AiG events and outreaches. Right now, many of our speakers are extremely busy traveling and presenting at churches, schools, and other locations across the country. Please pray for their safety in travel and that their talks will be unhindered by the effects of fatigue, stress, and unexpected complications. We thank God for the ministry opportunities He has blessed us with and pray that many will either come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ or grow closer to Him through these events.
