“For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, I do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that you might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding” (Colossians 1:9).

Commitment to Pray

We believe that prayer is our most strategic weapon in waging the war against compromise and encourage you to make a commitment in lifting up the rebuilding of biblical foundations in our church and culture. We ask that you pray throughout the day as God brings Answers in Genesis to mind and to consider fasting once a month, asking God to glorify His name in the specific requests relayed to you through the prayer updates. To help you stay engaged with current requests and praises, you can also subscribe to receive email updates.

Dear praying friends of Answers in Genesis,

As AiG continues to equip Christians and evangelize the lost, there are two major initiatives we want to bring to your attention for earnest prayer. These outreaches are under intense development, and we seek your intercession even now.

As you may be aware, AiG is designing the Ark Encounter, an evangelistic outreach that will feature a full-size Noah’s Ark (and other attractions) when it opens in northern Kentucky (about 40 miles from our Creation Museum). Just as the Ark of Noah’s time was a vessel of salvation, this new Ark will proclaim a modern-day Ark of salvation: Jesus Christ. See www.ArkEncounter.com for more information.

Our other major initiative is one that will equip the church with a much-needed Sunday school curriculum, which will help children, teens, and adults to have answers for the Christian faith. Designed for all age levels and to cover three years’ worth of Sundays, Answers Bible Curriculum will, we pray, help stem the tide of so many young people leaving the church because they don’t have answers to the challenging questions skeptics pose about the Bible. Sadly, many teens and young adults who attend Christian colleges are also leaving the church and others are losing confidence in the Bible because of the compromised teaching they receive at school (which is one of the themes of our book Already Compromised).

Our ongoing prayer is that our nation’s churches will stand with us to proclaim the vital truth that God’s Word can be trusted, from Genesis to the gospel. Pray, too, that more churches will be represented at our Creation Museum, and that non-Christians will visit in even greater numbers and respond to the gospel.
