Great Britain Eliminating Females

If you’re a baby girl, your chances of living outside the womb have decreased.

The British newspaper the Independent investigated the government’s new prenatal testing program and found “the practice of sex-selective abortion is now so commonplace that it has affected the natural 50-50 balance of boys to girls within some immigrant groups [from Asia] and has led to the disappearance of between 1,400 and 4,700 females from the national census records of England and Wales.”

While sex-selective abortions are illegal in most countries, including Great Britain, parents appear to be abusing the National Health Service’s new Non-Invasive Prenatal Test (NIPT). It was intended to screen for genetic conditions, but the test can also detect a baby’s gender as early as 10 weeks.

Members of parliament, such as Naz Shah, are now fighting to stop such abuse. Sadly, the prognosis is grim because the same government supports abortions for genetic conditions. When nations abandon God’s standard, which sees every human life as a reflection of God’s image and worthy to be defended and celebrated, everyone loses (Genesis 9:6; Psalm 139:13).
