Have you ever heard the claim that Jesus never existed? That He was just a made-up figure? How would you respond to this idea?
Well, you can start by pointing out that very few scholars hold to this idea.
Liberal and critical scholars, many of whom don’t think Jesus was God or that He did any miracles, well they still know that He lived in history. Some even say that no sane person doubts that Jesus ever lived and that it is a question not even worth debating!
As we will see this week, the Scriptures and the historical record support Jesus’ historical existence and even His Resurrection from the grave!
Yes, we can have confidence that we serve a real and risen Lord!
