Did They Really Prove the Big Bang?

In 2014, the media excitedly announced that proof of the big bang had been found. Some Christians were troubled, since the big bang directly contradicts God’s Word. But it turned out the find wasn’t really that spectacular.
It wasn’t proof of the big bang after all. It was supposed confirmation of cosmic inflation, a “rescuing device” for the big bang. But it turns out it wasn’t cosmic inflation at all. It was probably just the result of dust!
This just shows that news reports shouldn’t shake our faith in God’s Word. Because the Bible’s true, scientists’ findings will eventually confirm God’s Word, when more research is done.
