Did We Domesticate Ourselves?

The story of evolution goes something like this: those who are the fittest, the toughest, or the strongest survive and reproduce—the others die out.

But according to other studies, “tameness” was supposedly selected for in human evolution. This somehow resulted in genetic changes, as we supposedly “domesticated” ourselves. They say this allowed humans who ganged up against bullies to get ahead. In other words, the nice guy wins.

But this goes against evolution’s story of survival of the fittest. This story is always changing because it’s just that—a story invented by humans about the past.

Let’s start with God’s unchanging Word.
