Transcript

Similar fruit in Uganda and Madagascar ripen to different colors. In Uganda, they’re red. In Madagascar, they’re green or yellow. Well, why is that?

Well, in Uganda, monkeys and birds can see the color red, so they’re attracted to that fruit. But in Madagascar, lemurs can see the colors green and yellow. You see, the fruit grows in colors appropriate to the creature that eats it.

Are these plants evolving alongside animals? No, not at all. God created each kind, including plant kinds, with a remarkable amount of genetic variety allowing plants to adapt to different environments.
